The Castlefields Partnership is committed to making this project a success. To ensure that the project receives the full attention it deserves, the Partnership has appointed a dedicated full-time 'Regeneration Team' to oversee the project and ensure that it is implemented effectively 'on-the-ground'. They will also help strengthen links to the community and be on hand to deal with any concerns or questions you may have.

Chris Leyshon: Chris Leyshon leads the regeneration team. Chris is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and brings a wealth of project management experience in the housing field.

Previously employed in Halton Borough Council's Housing Department, he is very familiar with Castlefields and has a deep understanding for the issues that are important to the community. His experience ranges from managing the Council's housing capital programme to developing and implementing its housing strategy.

Andy Denton: Andy joined the team in November2005, having previously worked for the council on the Widnes Waterfront Economic Development Zone and as a Development Control Planner for Lancashire County Council before that. At university Andy studied both environmental science and urban development and has a comprehensive understanding of the issues facing Castlefields today. Together with Chris and Sarah he is committed to delivering the wholesale regeneration of Castlefields.

Sarah Lucas: Sarah has extensive regeneration programme management experience and a great working knowledge of the area.  She has worked at Halton Borough Council as a project officer on the Single Regneration Budget team and as a European Programme Officer on Halton's Objective 2 European Funding Programme.  Sarah returns to the Castlefields team after spending 12 months on the Widnes Waterfront Economic Development Zone and 3MG.

Between them Chris, Andy and Sarah have enough expertise and experience and enthusiasm to deliver the Castlefields project.
