The partnership is committed to working together to achieve lasting, sustainable improvements to Castlefields.
Who we are:
Halton Borough Council is the local authority and landowner, responsible for the delivery of services in Castlefields including education, leisure and social services.
English Partnerships is the Government's national regeneration agency delivering high quality, sustainable growth in England, helping create communities where people can afford, and want to live.
The Housing Corporation is the Government Agency responsible for funding and regulating over 2,000 housing associations in England. It is a leading player in revitalising and building communities by providing affordable homes people enjoy living in.
CDS Housing and Liverpool Housing Trust are the two registered Social
Landlords (RSLs) that own most of the houses and flats in Castlefields. They are also responsible for the maintenance of open space. The RSLs have a commitment to the tenants on the estate to play a major role in its regeneration.
Both have existing projects underway on the site.
Northwest Development Agency is the Regional Development Agency (RDA) with the potential to contribute funding to the regeneration of Castlefields through both physical and economic development projects.
