Castlefields Planning, Design and Environmental Framework
The portfolio of Castlefields planning, design and environmental guidance consists of:
Castlefields Masterplan: An ambition for Regeneration and a Plan for Action, 2003
Provides the overarching vision and guiding principles for the regeneration of Castlefields.
Castlefields and Norton Priory Action Area Supplementary Planning Document, 2005
Formally guides the physical regeneration of the area, to ensure quality and sustainability throughout the new development on Castlefields.
Castlefields Design Palette, 2005
The purpose of the Design Palette is to provide guidance in relation to the specification for hard and soft landscaping material to deliver a high quality public realm across Castlefields.
Castlefields Public Arts Strategy, 2008
Provides a scoping and visioning document for the development of public arts projects across the Castlefields neighbourhood.
Castlefields Tree Strategy, 2008
Recognises the importance of trees as part of the environmental capital of Castlefields and provides a strategy for maintaining a sustainable tree population within the neighbourhood.
