Since the Castlefields Regeneration Programme got underway in 2003 we have started to see a real transformation of the area and have received very positive feedback from residents on the work that has taken place. It is a much needed and long-awaited programme which will bring great benefits for all age groups in the community.

There are many more exciting developments on the way, some of which you can read about under work has started. The new road is crucial as it will give direct access to the community facilities, the walking and cycling routes will make it a lot easier to get around and works on the lighting and subways are very important safety improvements. The Youth Activity Park is greatly anticipated and we are delighted that young people in the area have been very much involved in the planning.
